From September 2022 we will welcome boys into Year 7; by 2026, we will be an all-through co-educational school, from Nursery to Sixth Form.
Providing an exceptional educational experience for children in the Newbury area has always been our focus. In the last decade, we have successfully established Sandleford Nursery and extended the co-educational offering of our Junior School. We are, therefore, both delighted and proud to continue our co-educational offering into the Senior School.
7S started their day with a scavenger hunt for items in their house, based on a colour beginning with the same letter as their first name. As well as giving them a chance to stretch their legs before school, they also practised their photography skills by taking pictures to share with the form What colour would you be? What would you find? #stgabrielsathome #tutortimefun #togetherwearestronger
What do you look for in a nursery for your child? Excellent care? ♀ A range of activities? Exceptional facilities? Friendly, qualified staff? Sandleford Nursery at St Gabriel's, #Newbury, offers all of this and more. We know that your child's early years are some of the most important in their development, so whilst your child is having fun, our staff are ensuring they are accessing our enhanced Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and gaining vital skills for later life...but Sandleford children would never know this, they're far too busy having fun! ♂ Find out more about our nursery offering visit our website: https://www.stgabriels.co.uk/nursery
Signs are emerging that spring is just around the corner, with more daylight and delicate snowdrops making their brief appearance, it's a perfect time for pupils to take up the English Department Spring Challenge. February half term is upon us, and although we are limited in what we do in lots of ways, we have put together a range of activities for families on our Concilium blog. https://www.stgabriels.co.uk/springtermactivities. For our budding scientists, you can book your free ticket to the Festival of Tomorrow 18 – 20 February on https://www.scienceswindon.com Scientists and engineers will come together to reveal the latest research and innovation tackling the world's greatest challenges.
We understand that learning from home can be difficult. It is not a challenge that any parent could have predicted, yet so many are working hard to support their children as we navigate this unprecedented path. We believe that teaching is down to us and our forward-thinking and proactive staff are providing a full timetable of interactive and engaging online lessons (for pupils and parents alike!). Our staff are also there to offer support as we know pupils are missing their friends, and the day-to-day routine of coming to school. We are doing all we can to make the best of this situation for our pupils and their parents; receiving feedback like this lets us know we're doing our job! Find out what a St Gabriel's education can offer your child, virtually and in person. Our admissions team is available and ready to help you start your St Gabriel's journey today www.stgabriels.co.uk/admissions #TheTimeisNow ⏰ #Berkshire
