Junior School Drama is vibrant, exciting and non-competitive. Our aim is to enhance confidence and self-esteem; encourage creativity and imagination; improve concentration and listening skills and develop theatre and performance skills.
Drama is used to enhance other topics through cross-curricular links with subjects such as History, Music and Religious Education.
Within a safe environment, children explore social and cultural issues, enabling them to develop empathy through characterisation and storytelling. Drama helps pupils to find their creative voice so they can develop into confident and skilled communicators.
